At Embassy This Generation, we believe that Jesus Christ is Lord over all the earth, and is to be Lord in every area of our lives. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and that signs and wonders should, “follow those who believe.” (Mark 16:17) We believe that there is a special call and anointing from God on this young generation, and that God’s desire is for us to live a life of holiness, blessed, and empowered to influence every area that we minister to.
Although every Christian is to be growing and being equipped by the local church, we believe that the church is not the end, but the beginning of the fulfillment of the great commission as given by our Lord Jesus. (Matthew 28:19-20)

Embassy This Generation is a safe place, an “embassy of God,” where you can come and enjoy fellowship with other believer’s just like yourself, and be trained in God, and experience the wonderful power of God. From there, we encourage you to take what you are learning and apply it in your daily life, bringing the Kingdom of God, and His values to where He has called you to be an influence. Pastor Derek Schneider
Pastor Derek Schneider gives vision and leadership direction to Embassy This Generation, one of the largest and most influential ministries for young adults in Canada. Pastor Derek believes that the key to young adult ministry today is to give young people a mission and mandate directed towards church reformation, and ultimately the transformation of society. Though Pastor Derek is a sought after speaker for young adult ministries and events, his influence and leadership is recognized and received on a multi-generational level across Canada, and in other countries of the world.

A Pastor on staff serving with His father, (the senior Pastor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of God in Oshawa) Pastor Derek’s gift mix is a unique blend of strong apostolic and prophetic leadership, with signs and wonders following-especially in the area of word of knowledge and healing.

Pastor Derek is most recognized for His unusual understanding and passion for radical and sacrificial prayer. At one time Derek was quickly establishing a very successful music career, and just before he was to sign a four year recording contract, he was visited by the Lord in His room and told that he was to give up his career in music, decline the recording contract and prepare to begin preaching. This experience in his room with Jesus lasted most of the night, and gave birth to his ministry today. Since then, Pastor Derek has taught pastors and leaders alike the importance of a relationship with the Holy Spirit that releases the Presence of God, and allows one to walk in supernatural ministry and success.

Along with His intense passion for the practice of the presence of the Lord, Pastor Derek Schneider has a desire and mandate to see today’s church restored to its place of true authority as the “answer” to all of society’s problems and questions. Over the last few years Pastor Derek has been equipping and teaching young and old alike the power of the gospel of the kingdom of God, and that as “carriers of kingdom principles,” we have the ability to bring heaven’s value system to any society and sphere of influence.

In light of this revelation, the Lord has been graciously using Pastor Derek in the mobilization of Christian believers in all walks of life, to create social programs and strategies that reveal Jesus and His Kingdom to their individual sphere of influence. In just the last two years alone, Pastor Derek and the members of Embassy This Generation have launched successful programs for the homeless, single-parents, the sexually abused, and other targeted areas of their community around them. They truly are taking God beyond the four walls of the church, and fulfilling the great commission of Jesus in their places of influence.

Although Pastor Derek is already an aspiring author, business man, and Pastor, he is most passionate about seeing even the most “unlikely” step into THEIR calling and purpose, through the discovery of their God-given gifts, and the sphere of influence that they are called to subdue for God’s glory.
